But what I'm waiting for the most is the American Idol season 11! Can't wait. Hopefully, I have one or two contestants to route for.

The Amazing Race 18 - Updates

Oh my my! All my favourite teams has been eliminated. I have no mood to watch the remaining episodes :( But if I don't watch, I will miss all the places they visited ;p

The Cowboys brothers were eliminated soon after Ron and Christina. And frankly, I don't like the way they lose the game. It was not because they couldn't catch up but it was because they were U-turned by the Globetrotters (unfair elimination!!). I hope this cowboys will be given a chance next time again.

Last week, it was the Goths turn to be eliminated. And this time, it was their biggest mistake for not reading the clue properly. They were penalized for taking a taxi to the Pit Stop (silly mistake!!). Initially, they arrived early but due to the penalty time they were incurred, the rest of the teams checked in before the time elapsed.

One team to go before the finals. Who would be in the finals?

Zev and Justin?
Gary and Mallory?
Kisha and Jen?
Flight Time and Big Easy?

I am not a fan of the remaining teams but I hope the father and daughter team will make it to the finals.

Let's wait and watch!

American Idol 10 - Updates

Kamusta ka, peeps?

I was so very busy for the past few weeks plus I went for a holiday with my sister. I just came back and managed to watch Top 5 performance of the American Idol 10.

Jacob Lusk is the latest casualty. Actually, I was worried for James Durbin especially his 'Without You' performance. But thank goodness he is safe!

Before Lusk, theyalready eliminated Casey Abrams, Stefano Langone and Paul McDonald.

Now, we only have two ladies and two gentlemen left. All I want is James to be in the finals, hopefully! Who else? I don't care less, but it could be Scotty or Haley. If Haley can make it to the finals then it would be a surprise for me. Why? because in the beginning of this competition she was always landed in the bottom three. Just let's wait and see. Two more eliminations to go and we will have our top 2!

The Amazing Race 18 - The Gambling Cowboys

Why oh why the cowboys took a risky move? They took a later flight from the other teams which is to me is real gamble. I hope they don't do it again as the next leg, somebody will be definitely going home.

In this leg, Zev and Justin became the first team to arrive won themselves each a 2012 Ford Focus!! Now I'm jealous!

Mallory and her dad arrived last and lucky for them as it was another a non-elimination leg. But they have to perform a Speed Bump in the next leg. And I hope this will give advantage to the cowboys to do some catch up.

The Amazing Race 18 - Lucky Cowboys

Because of trusting the information given, the cowboys nearly couldn't make it. The cowboys brothers are the only team who took a different flight to Delhi, India and were left far behind by the rest of the teams.

In a Roadblock, I was so disappointed with Ron. He lost his way to search for the Holy Men. I'm sure the cameraman following him swore on him! Even the cowboy who was one hour late passed him.

Their Detour was a choice between making fuel patties made from buffalo manure or delivering hays to a designated place. Lucky for the cowboys to choose the delivering hays. They did it in no time reached the Pit Stop before the Goths and father and daughter team, Ron and Christina.

Ron and Christina was the last team to arrive and had been eliminated. Sigh!

American Idol 10 - Top 8 Sang Songs from Movies

I didn't watch but I listened to Stefano's singing tonight. All I can say is, he will be safe. Either because of he was good or because of out of pity. And James Durbin is the BOMB tonight! Who would take the risk like James did? Heavy metal, anyone? Though I'm not a rocker or metal type of a person, I enjoyed James' performance. Hopefully, America will vote for him more!

Let's see how they did tonight:

Paul - I would vote for the sax girl :) Means? I'm not buying Paul's performance tonight. The same performance every week. There's no improvement at all.

Lauren - Is she really good than Miley? I don't think so. She was okay but there's nothing to shout about.

Stefano - I like the 'Stefano' tonight. He proved that he is as good as Pia. And there's no reason for them to boo him again.

Scotty - Okay fine. He is a country singer. No point for him to stay longer in the Idol. He can leave now and make a country album.

Casey - What? Another standing ovation for him from the judges? Oh I know why. The judges wanted to tell America to vote for the person whom they save. The judges are scared that their decision to save him is actually wrong. Well, for me Casey was a little bit shaky in the beginning. But the bass guitar thing cover his 'mistakes'.

Haley - This is, I agree with Randy. It was just a karaoke for me.

Jacob - He is getting weirder and weirder every week. Another boring performance. As I look at him every week, macam pondan bah dia ni kan oppps!

James - Finally! The most awaited 'concert'! I enjoyed his every moves including the one he went on top of the judges' table. And what's more? Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist backing up his performance? That's awesome! The most memorable performance so far in this season.

Ryan will send Haley to safety first. And it would be between Paul and Jacob. I really want to send Jacob home but with the praise he received from the judges tonight, so I think It's time to say goodbye to Paul.

American Idol - Top 9 Elimination Night

I was pissed off! No, not because of Pia was sent home but because of the audience booing and listening to the judges comments. Who cares about Pia's elimination. Sooner or later, she will go! Although she has a good voice, I'm still bored watching her performance. That's why I am never a fan of her.

I am not a Stefano fan but I feel sorry for him and I was more concerned on him. It was like the booing was meant for him. Luckily James was there for him. Hey! It wasn't Stefano's fault by the way. America decided to keep him and sent Pia home.

We hear J-Lo says "I have no idea what happened here. I'm shocked, I'm angry. I don't even know what to say".

What is this? Don't tell me that you don't know that this is a reality show. Somebody must go every week, so what? What would J-Lo say if it was Stefano who is eliminated?

Randy blamed America for not picking up their phone?! Was that a marketing strategy or what? I know why Pia was sent home. It was because her fans taking for granted that she is safe especially when Christian Slater's daughter is a fan of her. So everybody thought there is no way she is going home. To Pia's fan and also to the judges "suck it up!"

I was wondering now, are the judges feel that they shouldn't have use their safe vote for Casey? I am laughing out loud now! You can see Pia's reaction that night. When Ryan announced her name, she was immediately looking at the judges and was like pleading silently "please save me!" LoL!

American Idol 10 - Rock the House

After the double eliminations last week, the remaining contestants did a rock and roll tonight. But frankly, I wasn't moved. I found them boring. I found it even more boring when the judges were all in praise to all the contestant. Judges, are you sure you did the right thing?

Let's see what I saw and heard:

Jacob - I don't think this is the best for Jacob. But singing 'Man in the Mirror' is not easy either. So much so, I still think he won't go far. And telling to America of being in bottom three is not a wise idea at all.

Haley - I think she over-done the growling thing. Am still not a fan.

Casey - Not a memorable performance. I think my brother in law's version of 'Have You Ever Seen the Rain' is much better than him ;)

Lauren - Bad moves on choosing Aretha Franklin song. To sing her song, you must have big voice like Kelly Clarkson. Lauren is still immature to me. Oh please grow up!

James - He knows his game very well. When other contestants doing up-tempo songs, he chose a ballard-rock from the Beatles and he nailed it. I've been waiting for him to do other than fast number and he did it tonight!

Scotty - A Weird impersonation of Elvis and very corny too.

Pia - Relatively she rocked tonight. Vocal wise yes she nailed it but her performance wise, she did nothing. She made a safe move. I was expecting for her to move like James did in previous shows.

Stefano - "When a Man Loves a Woman" is one of my favourite songs. But I can't connect this song with Stefano. Something is missing. He is in danger unless of course all the teenage girls will vote for him like mad!

Paul - Jerky, Cocky, Corny and Crazy. But I think America loves him.

J-Lo & Steven - I'm getting tired of your 'amazing' and 'beautiful' comments. Get an idea!

My bottom three will be:

with Stefano leaving the Idol. I really wanted to choose Haley to go home but if this is happen, then we only have two females left and we don't want that to happen, yet!

The Amazing Race 18 - Taste of Tea

Margie and her son, Luke were eliminated from the Race. It was all because of tea. Luke became desperate to find the right tea in a Roadblock. I can feel his desperation but if he push himself a little bit more I'm sure he could finish the task in no time.

Mallory and her dad won this leg and won themselves a million rupees! which is equivalent to USD20,000.00.

My favourite, the cowboy brothers, Jet and Cord and also father and daughter team, Ron and Christina took second and third place respectively.

American Idol 10 - No More Second Chance

Randy said, "We have no more save vote. It's up to you now America". Well Randy, actually America had spoken. They eliminated Casey. And I agree with them. But the three of you saved him! I think it's too early to use the save vote. You should used the save vote to the deserved contestant. You all said Casey is a talented guy. So to me, it's okay for him to leave. He can use his talent outside. But whatever done is done. Move on!

Tonight the 11 contestants sang Elton John's songs. All in all everybody performed well. But still, two must go tomorrow night.

Scotty - Country! Country! Country! I had enough!

Naima - She is in danger

Paul - He too is in danger

Pia - Ballard! Ballard! Ballard!

Stefano - I think he is save but not for long

Lauren - I don't like her version of 'Candle in the Wind'. She turned it 360 degrees! And please, your immaturity irritate me.

James - Rock! Rock! Rock! But I still like it because he performed like a pro!

Thia - Oh dear Thia! You too is in danger tonight. But hopefully they will give you another chance so that you can show them your true talent.

Casey - Just safe I think

Jacob - I can't stand this man. Is he gay?

The Amazing Race 18 - Cowboys Rule!

I couldn't be happier when the cowboy brothers overtake Mallory and her father to the Pit Stop eventhough they used their Express Pass to skip a tiring task in Roadblock which is to assemble bones of a dinosaur. The cowboy received US$5000 each for being the first team to arrive.

Kent and Vyxsin made an impressive turnover! From last to fourth place. But they were penalized for not taking a hired plane to China so their position shifted to fifth place.

During this leg, it was fun to watch the Harlem Globetrotters and the gang playing basketball with Jaime and Cara doing the cheerleaders thing.

But too bad for Jaime and Cara, they became the last team to arrive at the Pit Stop and has been eliminated from the race. The race will continue. Who will be eliminated next?

American Idol 10 - Top 11 - Motown

It's Motown week and it's not my cup of tea. Some I just passed, didn't watch until they finished singing.

Casey
Why do people like him so much? I can perfectly hear him screeching. Nothing interesting about him

Thia
She accepted the challenge made by the judges by singing an up beat song. She was just okay for me. She can't let her voice out. But at least, she was enjoying herself on stage.

Jacob
I can't see why he was given a standing-O by the judges. To me, there's no wow in his performance. This is the time I got up and go and make myself a cup of coffee I wish he stops talking about singing in the church. It doesn't mean you can sing well in the church, it works on TV.

Lauren
What was she wearing? A bedroom dress? Gosh! I'm starting to be irritated by this girl. She was unreal on stage.

Stefano
I like him. He sang with full of emotion. Forget about what the judges said about being not connected. It's bull-shit!

Haley
Oh dear. I'm just not connected with this girl.

Scotty
Another country song. Why the judges didn't challenge him to do something different apart from country song. The judges did that to Thia and Pia. Why not Scotty??

Pia
No doubt she has a beautiful voice. But she became boring every week. If she doesn't do something, she will be became just like Karen.

Paul
I'm still not a fan. We already have Rod Stewart, so we don't need another one.

Naima
As usual, another new fashion from her which is good for her. Performance wise, the song is just ok. The dance, I want more from her.

James
He is my favourite. Again this week, he was like performing in a concert. He used the whole stage and did a little back-ward dance. I like! But hoping to hear from him doing something different next week. Just like Adam Lambert did the 'Mad World'.

American Idol 10 - Spanish Girl is Out

My bottom three spot on! But I picked Haley to go home but America wanted Karen to leave first. Meaning, the other two (Haley & Naima) are just waiting for their turn to leave American Idol.

Karen sang 'Hero' for her survival but lucky enough the judges didn't waste their only save vote for this girl. It was not unanimous though and I'm sure it was J-Lo who would likely to save Karen. Bravo to Randy and Steven to stick with their decision. It would be a waste to save this girl though.

By watching of the contestants performances so far, I could tell that all female contestants are in danger. It would be dominated by boys, again! Unless something drastic happen.

Let's find out what they offer tomorrow night.

The Amazing Race 18 - Oh My Goths!

What actually happened to the Goths?

It began when they forgot where they parked their car. Then they don't know how to open the car's bonnet. Out of panic, they lost their way to the airport and missed their flight to China. Vyxsin also left her passport at the airport counter (Kunming, China Airport). At this stage, I became irritated of Vyxsin. She panicked easily and forgets everything.

In Roadblock, Vyxsin once again broke into tears as she couldn't find her Chinese Zodiac charms. She said she is stupid. Luckily she admitted it so I don't have to say it again here LoL

After Vyxsin finally found her charms and put them in order, they took a gondola to go down Jade Dragon mountain. BUT their ordeal has not stop there! After they boarded a bus to take them to Old Town Lijiang, they realized that they lost their bag containing their passports and money. They begged the bus driver to turn back.

What will happen to them? We will find it out tomorrow night.

This leg of the race is not over yet as all teams were instructed to continue their race. The first team to arrive was Margie and Luke and they won themselves a trip to Aruba. Besides the Goths, Zev and Justin also has not checked in.

By the way, my Chinese Zodiac is HORSE.

American Idol 10 - Top 12 Performance

A brief review from me. All together, I can say it was a boring night for me. I was even doze up while waiting for their turns to take the stage.

Naima - I'm gonna agree with Randy. She was all over the place. It means, sumbang bah!

Paul - As I said before, I'm not a fan. He is starting to irritate me. He was wandering on the stage. Just like Taylor Hicks did before. Gosh! Not again. This is my second time mentioning Hicks!

Thia - No doubt she has a lovely vocals. But again, I'm gonna agree with Randy. Doing ballads again? It bore me all time!

James - Another great performance from him. This guy really know how to sell himself. A duet with Steven Tyler? Who would ever thought of that? It means America, you have to keep on voting for him in order to see the duet ;) Nice campaign James!

Haley - Another boring performance from her. I'm almost certain she would be in the bottom three tomorrow night.

Stefano - Great performance from him tonight. I think it was because his choice of song is very relevant. "If You Don't Know Me By Now" is a great song.

Pia - She has a great vocals but she doesn't 'wow' me yet. I'm waiting for the time to come.

Scotty - Perfect vocals for country song. Hope to hear something different from him.

Karen - I'm beginning to wonder, what did they see on this girl? Because she can sing spanish as J-Lo do? I bet she won't be long in Idol.

Casey - You know what, he is actually very pitchy. But he covers it up with his 'comic' performance. People love him that should be enough to keep him in there. But I doubt it he would be in the finale.

Lauren - I'm getting a little bit restless to see her. A little bit childish and fragile.

Jacob - What did he do? Why everybody praising him? Am I missing something?

Who would be in the bottom three? I think it would be all females again. And my guess are:

The Amazing Race 18 - Unfinished Business

I didn't realize the Amazing Race is back! Usually, I would receive news from the AXN in my email but not this time. Well, it's okay. I only missed the first episode. And during the first episode nobody has been eliminated.

They call this new season as 'Unfinished Business'. It means, a second chance for them to win the million dollars. I would love to have Kev Jumba in this season but nope, he is not selected.

The returning teams are:

Recaps:

In episode 1, Gary and Mallory became the first team to arrive and they were given the Express Pass. Jet and Cord was the last team to arrive but they were not eliminated as they were instructed to continue the Race.

In episode 2, Amanda and Kris were eliminated. Zev & Justin became the first team to arrive and won themselves a trip for two to Cancun, Mexico.

In episode 3, Mel & Mike were eliminated. They didn't complete their Detour task and was only shown at the Pit Stop for their elimination. Zev & Justin again won this leg of the Race and won a trip for two to Costa Rica.

American Idol 10 - The Diva is Out

It was a spot on for me! Yes! I guessed correctly. Ashthon is out for good. She sang again hoping the judges to save her again. Fortunately, the judges didn't use their only save vote for her. She had her chance and she blew it.

Adam Lambert is back in American Idol but as a guest. He sang "Aftermath", his latest single unplugged. Hoping to hear him singing this song plug-in ;)

American Idol - Top 13 Performance

Randy said, "It was boring and sleepy". And I would say, "It was boredom!!"

I won't give full review this time. I only pick who is okay, so-so and not okay and will predict who will be in the bottom 3 and who is going home.

Lauren - not okay (too confident?, I think so)

Casey - okay (but am still not a fan because I don't want another Taylor Hicks)

Ashthon - not okay (too much of diva?, I think so)

Paul - so-so (again, am not a fan - he is just not the american idol type)

Pia - okay (I have yet to see the more of her. Two weeks in a row singing a slow number, I'm almost getting tired. People like her because of her strong voice? Then, why she stretches her neck everytime she takes a higher note? You tell me!)

James - okay (in fact, the best of the night. Why? Because I'm a fan of his hehehe. Well actually, he is indeed very good!)

Haley - not okay (no further comments!)

Jacob - not okay (why everyone likes him? I can't see anything special about him. He can shout, yes, but that's all. Nothing to wow about)

Thia - so-so (I was ready for her smooth voice but in the end, I was a little bit dissappointed. Hopefully America will forgive her this time)

Stefano - not okay (Why did they all in praise of him? I've no idea. He can sing but wrong choice of song, that's all)

Karen - so-so (One word from me, it was overdone!)

Scotty - okay (he is a true country singer. Can't wait to see him doing other than country)

Naima - not okay (Now you know, it's not easy to sing and dance. Only a few singers can do that. Here in Malaysia, we have Stacy hehehe)

American Idol 10 - Lucky 13

I thought it would be 12. But I'm wrong. They make it 13 this season. Their reason? It's tough for them to choose. Well, America actually made their choices. They voted 10. And the remaining two spots would be picked by the judges. But the judges had tough time to choose. So, instead of picking two, they picked three! Am I glad with their decision? Well, as long as Stefano is in ;)

Out of 10, I got seven spot on! Meaning, the America agrees with me ;)

American Idol Season 10 - Top 24

I've been watching the American Idol season 10 religiously since the first audition! I think this season is the most talented participants they ever had so far. Especially those teenagers. I definitely sure the judges had tough time this year to choose the best among the best. It was so sad to see some them were sent home.

Finally, they had chose their Top 24. 12 guys had performed last night and 12 ladies did theirs tonight.

Some of them were so good and yet some of them due to nervousness failed to impress me. But I hope they do understand that they had to give their best shot. One shot only! This season they only have one semi-finals, not like previous years. It sure made the semi-finalists do their best. Some of them yes!

I won't give reviews on their performances. I just want to make my guess who will make it to the finals. Five boys and five girls. The remaining two will be chosen by the judges.

Australian Open 2011 - Women's Single Finals

Oh yesss!! I'm in cloud nine!!

Li Na created history, being the first Chinese singles in Grand Slam! Yeah, you heard me right, she made it to the finals. And what's more? She defeated the world no. 1 Wozniacki 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 in semi-finals.

She will face Clijsters in the finals! I know Clijsters is in top form now. But miracles do happen. I want Li Na to win.

In men's singles, sadly Nadal was ousted by Ferrer. But never mind, as long as Federer too won't be in the finals. Both of them have to wait a little bit longer to create another slam history hehehe

Who will join Djokovic in the finals? Murray or Ferrer? Hopefully it's Ferrer ;)

Australian Open 2011 Updates

Roddick crashed in round four :( Poor him. I don't know what will happen to him next.

But Li Na cruised to semis. Fantastic! I hope she can get through.

Who else?
Federer, Djokovic and Wozniacki also through to semis. But am not a fan, sorry! I'm hoping Clijsters and Nadal will join the rest to semis.

coz Australian Open is here and it begins today
and the good news is
Andy Roddick & Venus Williams cruised to the next round

please! let Roddick win this time
it's very frustrating to see him reached semifinals four times in Australian Open
and yet never advanced to the final

I hope 2011 is a good year for Andy Roddick
he is already 28 years old
and I'm sure he will retire soon
but hopefully before he hangs his rackets
he will win grand-slams
Australian or Wimbledon, fingers-crossed!

The Amazing Race 17 - The Finale

For the first time, I'm satisfied and relief! After 16 seasons, The American version of The Amazing Race finally created history where, all female team won the Race. Big applause to Doctors, Nat Strand and Kat Chang!

To make it more memorable, second place is also won by an all female team, Brook and Claire. Good job girls! I predicted them to take the third place. Jill and Thomas took the third placing instead. In the beginning of the Race, this team (Jill and Thomas) did a good job but they flopped when they took an un-corporating taxi driver. What the heck! They are in the United States and it seemed that the driver couldn't understand English!! In this case, Asian taxi drivers like in Hong Kong and South Korea are better than them. All Jill and Thomas wanted were an internet service. and the driver kept on saying that his taxi has GPS! What a joke! From here, I knew Jill and Thomas would be left behind. A few minutes behind from the other teams could make a lot of different. Anyhow, Jill and Thomas already created history where they were the first team to win the Express Pass which is first introduced by the production in this season's race.

In this final leg, I LOVE the Identify the Greeters challenge. This challenge is to test your knowledge and memory in a crucial time. At least, the Greeters were there (Pit Stop) for nothing. Racers should acknowledged them too. I'm glad Nat and Kat made notes on every leg of the race and that's why they don't have problem to identify the greeters. A lesson to learn for all the would-be racers!

The Amazing Race 17th season officially closed. Can't wait for the next one. I found out that the next season will be filmed in High Definition! Bravo! Love to see the race around the world in high-tech!

The Amazing Race 17 - South Korea

This is the place I almost visited early November. Last minutes, I was informed the tour group is fully-booked. My friend went and I was left behind. To my consolation, my friend bought me a Korean key-chain ;) Hopefully, I can visit South Korea in the future, well, after their 'war' ended I suppose :)

Ok, back to the Amazing Race! The four remaining teams were instructed to fly to South Korea. Due to their 6-hour penalty, Nick and Vicki were left far behind and they didn't catch up the flight which took the other teams to South Korea.

In the Roadblock, one team member must look for a similar headband worn by hundreds of soldiers who were training taekwondo to get their next clue.

In Detour, it was a choice between Full Throttle or Full Bottle. Between this tasks, I would definitely chose Full Bottle coz in Full Throttle, teams were asked to skate 24 laps!! I never skate in my life and how could I possibly do the task. In Full Bottle, teams were asked to deliver 6 glass bottles to a designated place without breaking any of them and later drink a bottle of ginseng. I'm sure ginseng would energize the teams LoL

There were almost no show of Nick and Vicki throughout the race. They were only seen doing their Speed Bump which was to clean a big army truck. I don't even know whether they completed the rest of the tasks. After the Speed Bump, they appeared in the Pit Stop. And as expected, they were eliminated from the Race.

The final three teams are Jill and Thomas, the first team announced to be in the finals. Brook and Claire, who were initially arrived first at the Pit Stop but were penalized for taking a cab to their Detour location and this made them taking the second place. And finally, the Doctors Kat and Nat.

Who would win the million dollars??

My prediction are:

1st - Kat and Nat

2nd - Jill and Thomas

3rd - Brook and Claire

I hope this time, the Amazing Race would finally making a history - an all females team to win the Race! Fingers-crossed!

The Amazing Race 17 - Hong Kong!

Oh yes. All the remaining teams went to Hong Kong. I've been there last March this year. This is the second place after London they went which I visited this year. And how come I didn't stumble with them :(

Bruce Lee!

My first stop at Hong Kong was at the Avenue of Stars. When teams were instructed to go there, I'm sure they will pass Bruce Lee's statue. It's not only they passed, the clue box was actually put near the statue. I was there! I was there!

How could Vicki hates the food. To my experience, Hong Kong has the best food. Expensive but delicious ;) That's what they did in Roadblock. Teams must identify fake foods to get their next clue. Vicki had problem in here. I was just thinking, if she hates Chinese food that much, then how come she volunteered doing the task?

In Detour, it was choice between Ding Ding or Sampan. Both tasks are tough especially if are you doing it in night time. In Ding Ding, teams must ride a Tram and and look for signs 'Pit Stop', 'Statue' and 'Square'. Only Jill and Thomas tried this but eventually failed to spot the signs. In Sampan, teams must use Sampan (boat) and look for registration number matching to the number on their bird cage. Nick and Vicki abandoned this task. This made them the last team to arrive at the Pit Stop. But lucky for them, it was a non-elimination leg and they were safe.

Although Nick and Vicki are safe, I'm sure they will be the next team to be eliminated. They were penalized for 6 hours which to be incurred in the beginning of the next leg. Furthermore, they need to do a Speed Bump too. So, I'm almost certain, it's time to say goodbye to this team.

By the way, I forgot to mention Nick's rudeness to Vicki. When Vicki told him she had an asthma, Nick was not helpful at all. All he cares was the race. Sorry to tell you Nick, but the most important thing in the Amazing Race is team work and unity!

The Amazing Race 17 - The Fallen of the Newly Engaged Couple

I thought, after being engaged, Chad and Stephanie became a strong team. But sadly, it isn't so. I was so pissed off with Chad when he asked Stephanie to do the Cycle Rickshaw. It was actually their chance to beat the other teams as they knew they were the last team to do the Roadblock. It was because they were U-turned by the Doctors, where they had to perform the other Detour.

In Detour, it was between Balanced Meals or Balanced Bricks. All teams did the Balanced Meals. Besides Chad and Stephanie, Brook and Claire also U-turned by Jill and Thomas., where they had to do the Balanced Bricks too. This is the first time they introduced a Double U-Turns. Words of praise should be given to Brook. She never complaints. She urged Claire to go on. Brook had a strong motivation.

I thought this leg is the non-elimination leg but I was wrong. Chad and Stephanie were sent home after being the last team to checked-in, in the Pit Stop.

Four teams left. But the next leg, I'm sure it would be a non-elimination leg ;)

The Amazing Race 17 - Oman

Teams went to Oman. I've never been to Oman yet but Oman is just like Dubai but Dubai is much more developed. If I could go to Oman, I would love to take pictures at the huge stake of books :)

In the Roadblock, one team member need to go down of the Jebel Shams using a rope. Upon landing, they need to find a ring in an Aladdin lamp. It was not an easy task coz there were hundreds of lamps everywhere!

In Detour, all teams chose to do the Water Table. The other task was Wedding Table. It was a wise decision from all teams as Water Table was easy. They only need to pump water into a water truck and deliver the water to an assigned house. The water truck was driven by professional driver, if not, I think teams would encountered problems!

Both Roadblock and Detour were not that hard but the only problem they encountered was to find the locations. Two teams, the Doctors and father/daughter lost their way. Unfortunately for the father and daughter team, they came last. Just a few minutes behind the Doctors.

The newly engaged team, Chad and Stephanie won this leg as Jill and Thomas who arrived first, were penalized for asking a guide to the Pit Stop - that made them into a second place. Good for Chad and Stephanie coz they won a trip to Belize - a present for their engagement!

Five more teams left. Two more to go before we find out the final three. The all-females teams are still in the Race. I still hope that one of them would win!!! But I suspected that there would be no elimination next. But we will find out by tomorrow night. Stay tuned!

The Amazing Race 17 - "You Didn't Read the Clue"

That's what Michael told his son, Kevin. Which I agree so very much! If only he read the clue properly, they could be still in the Race (sigh!). After 17th season, this silly mistake shouldn't be happened. To all would be racers - "read your clue from the beginning right till the end. Do not miss a thing!!!"

All teams were in Russia. After so many riding in the previous legs, this time, they were all racing on foot! Which was quite tiring. To which I think, made Kevin to hire a taxi to lead their way and also ride a taxi in which they were suppose to walk! 30 minutes penalty on each mistake! Lucky for Brook and Claire, they realized their mistake after reading the clue once again inside a taxi. They made a turn around and they were safe. They said, how they wish they can tell Kevin and his dad of their mistake. (sigh!)

In Detour, I think I prefer the accordion rather than the plates spinning. I am a fast learner and music is my thing so, no problemo ;)

In the Roadblock, they have to play a game namely 'gorodki'. I didn't know Russians are playing this game. In my place, this game is called "main kayu tiga". I used to play this game during my childhood and I was very good at it hehehe. It was so frustrating to watch Michael doing this roadblock. I was thinking, if he could finish it quickly, maybe they were still around coz they were about to penalize one hour for their mistakes during the race. (sigh!)

Doctors, Nat and Kat rules this leg. I'm still hoping one of the two-female teams win this race! Please!!

The Amazing Race 17 - From Sweden to Norway

This is what I like most of The Amazing Race. Being able to see the other parts of the world. How I wish I could tour those countries the TAR visited [cross fingers ;)]

So, what happened at the last race? Oh yes, a Fast Forward! Doctors, Nat and Kat being the first to go has the opportunity to go for the FF. And it was a gruesome experience for them as being vegetarians, they had to eat a sheep's head! But it was all worth it. They won a trip to Costa Rica for being the first team to arrive at the Pit Stop!

But what I don't understand is, after 16 seasons of the Amazing Race, there are still stupid dumb-dumb people in there. They don't know the meaning of Fast Forward Taken! The most important fact of the Fast Forward is, if you are not the first team to depart, then don't ever think to go for it. It's a waste of time!

The Roadblock was tough. After retrieving the clue, it needs all your energy to go up to the bridge deck. I could easily gave up!

In the Detour, like in previous leg, there was another ride and this time using a bicycle. If I were in this Race, I'll definitely choose the other Detour and that is, the Boat. Why? Because I don't know how to ride a bike LoL!! Kevin and his Dad chose boat too, considering of Kevin's aging dad. It was a wise move and made them the fourth team to arrive. The second time for them to arrive as no. 4. Lucky number? hehehe

Katie and Rachel being the last team to depart made them the last team to arrive, again! And they were immediately eliminated from the Race.

And now, they only have two all-female teams, three dating teams and two parent/children teams. I am still hoping for all-female teams to win the US Amazing Race! But at the same time, I like Kevin's too ;)

The Amazing Race 17 - They Go for Joyride

In this leg, teams enjoying themselves in riding. One is Sled Dog on Roadblock, where they go for a ride which is pulled by a bunch of dogs, to collect five different flags and the other one is in Detour where they have to race down a mountain using TechSled.

Kevin and his dad had to do Speed Bump before they can continue their Race. They were asked to sit on chairs made of ice for 10 minutes! Lucky for them, it's the easiest Speed Bump I've ever seen. But I think it was cool :)

Jill and Thomas decided to use their Express Pass in this leg. I think it was a wise decision from them as they were the last team to arrive at the Detour. With that, they became the 5th team to arrive at the pit stop.

Connor and Jonathan were eliminated in this leg. And they dedicated an acappella rendition entitled "Amazing Race" in Amazing Grace tune.

The all girls teams so far were doing good. Could they make a history by winning this season? We have to wait and see.

The Amazing Race 17 - All About Ghana

As usual, I enjoy watching The Amazing Race! Love this show very much ;)

Teams were still in Ghana. Again, teams do not read their clue properly. This is always happen in every season. One good example was during the Supply Depot. The clue clearly stated what or how many things you should bring but due to carelessness, they have to return again to get their missing supplies. Only one or two teams got it correct.

In the Detour, all teams except one couldn't find the decoder key on the Language Arts tasks and it was actually right around the corner! I was so pissed off for their ignorant. The other task which is Bicycle Parts is not new to me. I was proudly telling my son that I used to play that game during my childhood :)

The task I like most is the Geography class! Oh yes, this is my favourite. What I mean is I like this kind of tasks not that I'm good in Geography though LoL

Kevin and Michael were the last to arrive at the Pit Stop. Michael needed some medical assistance before he completed his task. I think it was due to the heat. He was dehydrated. I was like, oh no! not Kevin. I don't want him to go yet! And thank goodness, it was a non-elimination leg and they are safe. I like the way he encouraged his dad to go. He is a good son! I'm a fan of Kevin! He is a YouTube hero! I first came to know him when I watched YouTube by Ryan Higa. Search him on YouTube. He is popularly known as KevJumba.

Nobody is eliminated. It means, somebody must go tonight! Hopefully not Kevin as they have to do Speed Bump tonight.

The Amazing Race 17 - Fantasy Coffins!

Usually when teams were doing task of selling something, it would always be easy because people like to be on TV so sometimes they are generous. They buy because they would appear on TV! But it was a different case in Ghana!. It was not that easy. Was it due to poverty in Ghana? But nonetheless, teams made it at last.

I like the Detour. A choice between to install a TV antenna or to bring a fantasy coffin! I would definitely choose the fantasy coffin. It was so unreal but unique. I could always choose my favourite coffin. If there is a guitar, I might choose it LoL!

Too bad for mother and daughter team, Andie and Jenna. They were eliminated in this leg. I'm not so sure where they did wrong. I think it's easy to blame the traffic in Ghana :)

The Amazing Race 17 - They went to London!

The Amazing Race is back!! My life will be back to normal again LoL!!!! Tonight is the second leg of the Race. They had so far, eliminated a best friends couple, Ron and Tony.

In the first leg, I noticed that they introduced 'The Express Pass' - a winning gift to the team who arrived first. And it was won by a dating couple, Jill and Thomas. This pass can be used during the Race if they want to skip any task that they don't want to do. And it can only be used once during the Race which is only valid before Leg 8. Nice improvement TAR!!

Oh! one more thing, there is no married couple this season. Why oh why? But they have three dating couples, wow! And also they have a father/daughter, a father/son and a mother/daughter teams. I hope they do well in this Race. And speaking of the father/daughter team, the daughter was one of the contestants in Miss America 2010. Not only her, but they have two more beauty queens! Wow, amazing personalities in this season!

Last but not least, if I'm not mistaken, this is the first time ever they went to London! Oh yeah, London, I like it best. Been there last May! How I wish I met the teams there! They went to the Eastnor Castle, and I visited the Windsor Castle. Opps!, wrong castle ;) Well, who knows, one day, I may stumble with the TAR teams! Fingers crossed :D

Even though I did mention that Casey James and Michael Lynche would be gone before the finals but watching their performance tonight made me a little bit guilty. Yes, they did superb performances. I just can't pick one who would be heading home.

But let's back to reality. This is indeed a reality show. They are voted to stay on. One of them will leave Idol. I can only guess that it's either Casey or Big Mike. Coz I really want to see Lee and Crystal in the finals.

After the elimination tomorrow night, the top 3 as usual will be going home. But what I've been waiting for is, their songs will be chosen by the judges. The only thing puzzle me is, there are 3 contestants and 4 judges. So who is who giving song to the contestants? Stay tuned to find out!

The Amazing Race Season 16 Finale

To all The Amazing Race fans out there, don't forget our date tonight. It's the finale! All I want is the Cowboys to win, the dating models runner up and brothers Dan and Jordan second runner up! I hope the tasks are more interesting too than the previous season, ie. season 15.

American Idol 9 - Aaron Kelly

Oh no! Aaron's "Fly Me to the Moon" became "Fly Me to Pennsylvania". He was knocked out from Idol season 9. And what surprised me was Casey James was not even in bottom two! Oh crap! But never mind, it's either this week or next week or next next week, Casey will be gone together with big Mike :D

The top 5 were doing Frank Sinatra's last night. Like Randy said, it was a little bit sleepy. But thanks to Lee Dewyze for saving the night. Thanks to Harry Connick Jr too for his superb music arrangement.

So, who is going home? I'm predicting, it's time for Casey James to go home.

I am also predicting, these two will be in the finals.

But whatevery may happen. Let's just wait and watch!

American Idol 9 - Eliminated So Far

I still couldn't get over Adam Lambert came back to American Idol. I think he is the first former Idol to called back as a mentor! That's an honour for him even though he didn't win last year. Adam said as humble as he can be that how can he be a mentor as he is just beginning his own career himself ;)

And what I like about Adam as a mentor is he is completely honest. He tells them which one is good or bad or even boring (poor Andrew hehehe)

During the result show, Adam performed 'What Do You Want From Me'! Superb!

And it was a double elimination. My favourite Katie Stevens was voted out. Poor Katie. How I wish the judges didn't use their safe vote for Michael Lynche :( I think Katie's problem was she showed her frustration to the judges through her performance. It's irrelevant though but I think America in favour of the judges! I would remember Katie through her "Let it Be" performance. Andrew Garcia was sent home too but I don't care about him. Like Adam said, Andrew was boring. That's what you get when you don't listen to an expert!

This week, it was Tim Urban's turn to say goodbye. "Can't Help Falling in Love" was his best performance during his stay in Idol. Adam advice him to use his falsetto at the end of his singing but he didn't dare to do it. If he did, I think his performance would be the most memorable one!

Well, he is out now. The good news is I won't be seeing his fake grin anymore. It was kinda weird :p

In an unrelated note, Adira is singing one of my favourites song tonight in Akademi Fantasia 8 and that is "My All" by Mariah Carey. I hope she doesn't kill that song. Finger-cross!

Ohhh yessss!! Adam Lambert mentors the top 9 contestants in American Idol tomorrow!! It's about time the contestants need proper coaching because so far they were boring :( Hopefully Adam can do something to make it interesting!

Last week, to my delight the contestants were doing McCartney and Lennon's. The best so far. And I chose Casey James as the best performer of the night. Check it out!

And I'm still watching 'House', 'Heroes' and 'Lost'. I watch Akademi Fantasia Season 8 too but I can't give reviews coz I'm not religiously watching the show. Anyway, good luck to the Sabahan's Adira and Ain!

I love all the girls ;) but I've been following Katie since her auditions. As for the boys, I love all of them too but I've been rooting closely Tim Urban coz I think he is the underdog. He didn't make it to the top 24 at first but since they cut one of the top 24 contestant they re-considered Tim.

Whatever it is, I think a girl would win this year. But we have to watch to find out! They will perform Rolling Stones next week. Stay tuned!

The moms/attorney has been eliminated in the last episode. They had worked hard on the tasks but it wasn't enough. It led to their elimination.

But what make me happy was the Cowboys team. They are cool and well-organized. I hope they would continue their good job! And by the way, I became more irritated with the lesbians :(

The grand-ma (Jody) and grand-daughter (Shannon) team has been eliminated tonight. So close but yet so far. They almost made it but grand-ma got kick off by a cow. Pity grand-ma! I haven't seen much of Shannon's capabilities. How nice if she could return to The Amazing Race someday with a different team-mate ;)

The Cast

Oh gosh! I'm spoilt for choices. All my favourite English Series are on TV such as Lost, Heroes, Supernatural and CSI Last Vegas. And also entertainment programs like American Idol, The Amazing Race, The Biggest Loser, The Biggest Loser Asia, You Think You Can Dance etc etc.....

The Amazing Race Season 16 premiered last week and one couple has been eliminated. They were Dana and Adrian. Pity with Adrian who failed at the Roadblock. He is afraid of heights that's why he shook terribly when he was trying the rope bridge.

I like this season's personalities. One of them are lesbians LoL. There are cowboys and Detectives too. I couldn't decide which one should I root for. Maybe Brent and Caite (Miss South Caroline Teen USA). But last week they made a mistake already. I hope tonight, they would be extra careful especially reading the clue.

There is one team, Joe and Heidi. I'm very sure Joe is an Asian ;) I might root this team too Go Asian Go!

Anyway, let's see tonight's episode then I will decide which team should I follow :D

Last week's auditions were at Chicago and Orlando. I don't have favourite except for one and she is Janell Wheeler. She sang 'House of the Rising Sun'. She was only a few seconds on TV but I think she can sing.

Yes! It's American Idol again and it's season 9! I just watched the Atlanta audition and Boston's last night. And I can't wait the rest.

I could say both. Yes. I was and I am busy and at the same time I am lazy to update my blog. I have many things to share but everytime I switched on my computer, I would log in into Facebook first. By the time I finished browsing all my added friends' FBs I was already tired and sleepy and in no mood updating my blog.

I hope there will be changes in 2010 ;) I hope I can update my blog regularly. I hope I'm less busy next year. But most important thing is, I hope I am not L.A.Z.Y. hehehe

As expected, last leg of the Race was the last non-elimination. The four teams are still racing. Unfortunately for Brian and Ericka, they have to perform a speed-bump in the next leg as they were the last team to check in.

Dating couple team, Megan and Cheyne is unbeatable now. But this is a Race. Anything can happen. Let's find out what happen next.

Oh dear! Who could forget the hays! It was in the season 6 where sisters, Lena and Kristy failed to complete the Roadblock. I was following the sisters then. After 12 hours of rolling the hays to search for the clue, Phil came at the Roadblock and eliminated the sisters as all teams had checked-in.

In this 15th season, the Roadblock re-appeared. But this time all teams managed to find their clues. Father and son team was the last one to check-in but they were not eliminated as it was a non-elimination leg. But in the next leg, they will perform a speed-bump!

Nice episode! They tasted the heat at Dubai Desert and ice at Ski Dubai.

Engaged couple Lance and Kerri were eliminated from the Race. I don't care really coz I don't like Lance. He was so rude!

Beside Maria and Tiffany I'm beginning to like Brian and Ericka. They are nice married couple. I hope this two teams will be in the final 3.

In the last leg of the Race, friends Zev and Justin came in first but in the end, they were the one who was eliminated. It was all because of Zev lost his very important document, his passport!

But thanks to them, otherwise, it would be Maria and Tiffany who could be eliminated from the Race as they checked in last. I hope they will improve! It would be sad if the only all-female team sent home.

Nice! This is the first time I saw a moving Pit Stop! All teams boarded in a riverboat and it was moving to a new destination.

In their first task, I think Mika & Canaan thought they had to dance to get the clue from the dragon's mouth! Eventually they found out that they had to snatch the clue [bullet] from the dragon's mouth. That's the problem if you came in last. Sometimes they don't know what to do. Another team, Lance & Keri didn't know that the bullet they were holding contained the clue! This is another problem when you don't read your clue.

In the Detour, teams need to pick a concrete animal and transport it to a destination. On their way, they had to picked colourful balloons before they received their next clue. In this task, team need to think wisely on which animal should you choose. Some teams picked giraffe which was too heavy to move.

This race won by Herber and Nathaniel. Dating couple, Marcy and Ron was the last team to arrive and was eliminated from the Race!

Eric & Lisa

After 14 seasons of the Amazing Race, I think this is the first time where a team has been eliminated in the beginning of the Race!! Married couple, Eric and Lisa failed to get their license plate. Without the license they couldn't fly to Tokyo, Japan.

Meghan & Cheyne

The first leg of the Race was won by dating couple, Meghan and Cheyne. Poker players, Maria and Tiffany were safe as this is the first a non-elimination leg. I've predicted this as a non-elimanation coz they already eliminated one team in the beginning. Maria and Tiffany were penalised for two hours coz they didn't complete their task [they left their two tourists behind] and in addition they will perform a Speed Bump in the next leg.

Gary & Matt Garrett & Jessica

In the following leg, a father and son team, Gary and Matt took the first place. They won a kayak each. On and off dating couple, Garrett and Jessica came in last. It means, they were eliminated from the Race.

Maria & Tiffany

After watching two legs of the Race, I think I'm gonna follow the only all-female team, Professional Poker Players, Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle. I like their guts! By the way, Maria Ho was born in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to the United States with her family at the age of four. I hope they will become the first all-female team to win the Race as it was never happen before! Good luck to you girls!

I almost forgot that I do have a blog *LoL*

Well actually, I'm not into blogging at this moment coz I am so very busy doing farming! Oh yes! I am an ardent farmer now. You don't believe? Well, go and find me at FB! You will see me there so hard-working on my farm!

Nevertheless, I still do watch the ongoing tennis US Open. I am quite disappointed actually when Roddick, Ivanovic, the Williams Sisters and Li Na didn't make it to the stage that I'm hoping for. The new US star, Melanie Oudin also fell during quarter-finals.

But what make it sad more is when Serena Williams was penalized a point and that made Kim Clitjers wins the semi-finals match. It was all because some [unnecessary] remarks she made to the line judge.

But what make me so geram at this moment is when my brothers and cousins ejek-ejek saya atas kekalahan ManU. To me, diorang ni sebenarnya jealous sebab team kegemaran diorang, Liverpool ntah ke mana. American Idol Season 8 - The Result

I took leave today to watch the Result Show. But it was a disappointing result ever! Adam lost because he is gay and many people detest him? Quite a shame! We should judge him on his original talent and not his personality.

Anyway and anyhow, Americans had chosen their American Idol and the title belongs to Kris Allen [even Kris says, Adam deserves it more!]. We will see what happen to them next. Not today or tomorrow but one year after today!

Congrats to Kris Allen and best wishes to Adam Lambert. I'm Adam's fan since his audition and I would be as long as Adam in this industry.

American Idol Season 8 - Final Performance

Just finished watching The American Idol Season 8 finale. I won't go in detail on their performances this time. I'll be brief ;) [no point in giving comments coz this is their final performance - nobody cares really!]

It would be great if Adam sing after Kris. But Adam lost to their coin-tossing and Kris chose to sing after Adam. So, Adam goes first.

1st Round
Adam Lambert - Mad World
Kris Allen - Ain't No Sunshine
[1st round won by Adam. He sang a higher note compare to last time and it was just superbly amazing]

2nd Round
Adam Lambert - A Change is Gonna Come
Kris Allen - What's Going On
[2nd round won by Adam. The best moment from him!]

3rd Round
Adam Lambert - No Boundaries
Kris Allen - No Boundaries
[nobody won. I hated this song myself!]

How I wish, Adam chose a rock song. He might rock the stage and make it hot - that would make the crowds yearn for more! Oh well, what has done is done. Let's just hope the American voted wisely this time and not like previous year. I was so sure David Archuleta would win. I even suspected they switched the results :( Whatever it is, I am still Archuleta's fan! [opps out of topic!]

The Americans were given FOUR HOURS to vote this time. If I could vote, I would be crazy as they are LoL.
