Andy Roddick won the first round of tennis US Open 2008. More over, it was a straight set against Fabrice Santoro of France. What else? Oh yes! THE Roddick's final match point! His powerful serve made Santoro just stood and watched without making any attempt to return the ball. Later, Santoro protested which is so childish to me. Roddick won 6-2, 6-2, 6-2.
Roddick next opponent would be Ernests Gulbis of Latvia. What's interest me is, Roddick and Gulbis shared the same birthday and that would be, tomorrow August 30th.
In a shocking news. Top seed and World No. 1, Ana Ivanovic stumbled down in her second round game. She lost to Julie Coin of France, 3-6, 6-4, 3-6.
