I'm sure all of you know by now who won the Amazing Race Asia season 3. I was upset that the Malaysian team didn't win. All because of wrong decision at the airport. They arrived early at the airport but I can't figure why they didn't take the earlier flight. Nevertheless, congrats to them for reaching the finals and won the third place. Malaysian teams so far, never fail to reach to the finals!

Now, I'm concentrating with the Amazing Race US version. Fortunately, the siblings are still in the race. They nearly became the victim of a lousy taxi driver. I hope it won't happen again. I want them to be in the finals together with Toni and Dallas and also, Ken and Tina.

The frat boys was saved by a non-elimination. They need to perform a Speed Bump in the next leg. I hope the other three teams will take this opportunity by going forward without looking back!

Oh and by the way, I won't forget the frat boys doing the parade match. Dan was out of rhythm. I laughed all the way! Let's find out what else in store for them in the next leg!

  • I noticed that besides air flight, 'Operating Hours' too spoil the lead of a team.
  • And I must say that The Amazing Race both US and Asia versions likes to go to India. Why? Maybe because they like the craziness in India. The crowds and the transportation!
  • Now I know, Ghandi was born in 1869. Must try and buy 4D :) But Tisha made Ghandi younger, she keyed-in 1977!!
  • The Philippines team proved to be impatient. They kept on switching doing the task at the Detour.
  • At the Roadblock, it was shameful enough for the Hong Kong Team when Ida overtook Sam. Double shameful when Sam quit doing the task! Yikesss...
  • I don't know what the Singaporean team think when Fuzzie volunteered doing the task. I think it should be A.D doing it coz she's lighter.
  • Knowing the Hong Kong team has given up, and will be penalized for four hours by not completing the task, Fuzzie should push herself a little harder. At least for the sake of the US100k!!!
  • I really wanted the Singapore team to be in the final coz I am sure the Malaysians team can beat them any time ;) compare to the Hong Kong team. Urghh!!
  • Three teams are in the finals. Who will win the hundreds thousand dollars? I hope the Malaysians team will win and make a 2nd victory for all-girls team to win the Race! Look on how I arranged their pictures above. I want it that way at the final leg. 1st the Malaysians team, Hong Kong at second place and third, the Philippines team.
  • Stay tuned for the finale on Thursday, only on the Sexy AXN! awwww...

  • Sometimes it's good to take a cab rather than a rent-car. The Malaysian's team did a good job at the airport, by taking a cab to take them to a stadium.
  • I like the Pheta thing but it's not a challenging task at all.
  • And the telling joke thing was a repetition from the previous Race. Kering idea sudah mengkali ;)
  • I don't know what went wrong with the Malaysian's team on Detour. They were leading then out of nowhere, the Hong Kong team arrived first at the Pit Stop.
  • And it's a shame they didn't take the U-Turn. It was because they didn't bring their picture with them. How could this happened? This is a Race. They should be ready at all time. Lame...
  • If the Malaysian's team U-turned the Philippines, the Singapore team would be the third team arrived. The idea is, the Philippines would be the last team to depart in the next leg. Between the two teams, the Malaysians could easily beat the Singaporeans. But it was too late to regret!
  • Who will be in the final 3? Stay tuned!

  • I was Upset!
  • I was disappointed!
  • I was frustrated!
  • It was all because of a wrong decision on air flight. I don't know what made them to take flight via Singapore!
  • They were arguing at the warehouse! What method?! Just concentrate looking for the clue lah!! Why making a big fuss about method!
  • Wrong decision again at the Detour. They should have choose fish. Don't they like fish??!
  • What everlah! What done is done.
  • Good luck to the remaining Malaysia team. Make us proud! So far, Malaysians never fail to be in the top 3.
  • But I think, there will be no elimination this Thursday. Let's find out!

  • It's not good from the Malaysian teams. They were fourth and fifth place, in the last leg. Come on guys! Pull yourself together! I want to see at least one Malaysian team in the final three.

  • Was I mad when Pinoy team yielded the siblings? Nahh...That's the game should be. I definitely sure the siblings would do the same if they had the chance. At the same time, it was an honour to be yielded. At least you know that you are a threat to the other teams :)

  • Switching the tags on the clothes at the Detour was definitely childish! The Hong Kong team didn't have the guts to yield the siblings but they had the nerve to switch the tags. I am soooo 'disliking' them already!

  • Ok now, let's talk about the Roadblock. Team Singapore and Malaysia (Ida & Tania) didn't finish their climb as lightning streaks across the sky. They were advised not to proceed with their climb and were given the clues. My personal thoughts is, a penalty should be imposed. A 10-minute penalty, perhaps. You have to be fair. The task is not completed. Stick to the rules. Don't blame it to the act of God.

  • Before the teams could check-in at the Pit Stop, they had to do a final task, which is to arrange the 12 Chinese Zodiac accordingly. And I thought, being a Chinese, the Hong Kong team could finish them in no time. To my surprise, the Pinoy beat them for that. (Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Ram, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Boar)

  • Again, Ida & Tania arrived last. But to their delight, it was another a non-elimination leg and they can keep their cash. However, they must check in first in the next leg or otherwise, take a 30 minute penalty.

  • Somebody is definitely going home on Thursday! Stay tuned.

  • What a huge lead by the Hong Kong team. Furthermore, their next destination was their hometown. I didn't surprise when they came first, again!
  • If the siblings chose the fortune cookies, they could leave the other teams too. Sometimes, they need to make a decision wisely. It doesn't mean you are a Chef and you must choose fish! Silly idea.
  • But I like it when Bernie forgot to give back the handbag during the Roadblock. Did she purposely forget or what? LoL.
  • A sweet escape for Ida and Tania. As expected, they were the last to arrive. But true to my instinct, it was a non-elimination leg. As usual, they need to surrender all their money.
  • Another non-elimination tonight? Let's watch and find out!

  • The task with the CDs looked like easy but actually it wasn't. I can feel their frustration. But what I couldn't understand is, why Oliver and Mai continued on doing the task. If they had the guts to take on the penalty, I would think they won't be eliminated in this leg. But again, I think they didn't want to continue the Race. They've given up that's why they were slowing down.
  • Lucky for Ida and Tania as they didn't give up with the CDs thing. But going on 'shopping' during the Race is not a good idea. And it wasn't a wise decision from both of them in the Detour either.
  • As for Geoff and Tisha, why didn't they just pay the taxi to lead them instead of asking the way to the coal mine in which they didn't even have a clue on where the place is. Were they ran out of money? Arguing with each other will take them nowhere too.
  • Sam, I hope karma doesn't hit you when you did something against your religion! I also hope that the reward to Santaburi Resort was worth it ;)
  • Nothing much with Henry and Bernie but I am glad they were the second team to arrive at the Pit Stop. Followed closely by the Singaporeans.
Five teams left. Which team is leaving next? But my instinct says, there will be no elimination in the next leg :D

Stay tuned on AXN!

  • I think Natalie sabotaged the game. Feeling tired and declared she's giving up during previous leg, I was surprised to see when she volunteered doing the Roadblock. Pailin shouldn't allow her. Looking at her walking slowly and with no heart of completing the roadblock, pissed me off! She didn't try hard like the rest of the teams. Ida is 100% much better compared to her! I pitied Pailin especially during the change of tire and oil. Why join TARA if you are scared of being dirty or break your fingernails? Urgghhhh! Never mind, they are gone for good!
  • What a bad luck for the siblings. First, they got into a bus without air-cond with full of groceries. Secondly, the bus had flat tire on their way to Hue. Then, their jeep always breaks down. They had to push the jeep everytime, to make it works! Actually, this is the real challenge for them!
  • Geoff with his temper again! You can see it when he was doing the stalks. He even scolded Tisha for slowing down. He should encouraged his partner, not yelling at her! It reminds me of another Pinoy team previous season. Henry and his wife (oops forgot her name already)
  • What's with the team looking for a clue box? The clue isn't always in a clue box my dear friends :) Their clue was actually sitting nicely on the tri-cycle LoL
  • The siblings had an accident. I thought Bernie fainted after she was thrown out from the tri-cycle. Fortunately, both of them are fine.
  • The siblings arrived first again! And they won a cam-corder each. Nice!
  • Ida and Tania came in third. Good performance from team Malaysia. Go Malaysia!

Good job Malaysian's teams! Bernie & Henry arrived first and received a year supply of petrol. Bestnya! I also respect Bernie's determination during the Roadblock.

The Korean brothers has been eliminated from the Race. It's tough indeed. Two teams are now out of the competition. Who will be next? Stay tuned on AXN.

My Findings:
  • Never ever assumed that you are in the right track. This is what had happened to Oliver and Mai. They postponed their trip to the Gibbon Park which made them the last team to arrive at the park. Pailin has a good instinct though.
  • The road block is tough! It hurts some of the teams including Bernie when they were hit by a sniper!
  • Airport chaos must be handled professionally by the teams. Once you make a wrong decision then, you are gone! Kudos to the Malaysian teams for making a wise decision.
  • A Beauty Queen couldn't sleep at the airport! Why did she sign up for the Race in the f irst place anyway?? Lucky enough they have good airport to sleep in!!
  • Unless it's a Roadblock, never ever try your luck in dealing with sampan especially when you have no experience. Fortunately, the Malaysian siblings chose the right detour.
  • Why did Mai cry over the chicken?? No idea!!
  • Silly idea from Henry when he tried to abandon their chickens and try to locate the market. Bernie with brains save the situation.
  • Tania chose smaller chickens so that it won't burden them. Good idea Tania!
  • Geoff is very rude, don't u think so? I was shocked to see him blowing his whistle to get a cab, gosh!!! He has no respect to the locals too. He just grabbed one man and asked him to drive them! But I had a good laugh to see Geoff and his girlfriend carrying the groceries at the market. Karma returns to him! Padan muka!

  • Dubbed as the toughest race ever - no doubt about that. Eating bugs and scorpions? No way. I couldn't have done it.
  • I'm happy for Henry and Bernie a.k.a the siblings, by finishing first in eating the bugs but then, their taxi driver screwed their lead.
  • The siblings arrived second last in the next task but again, they finished first. Cleaning the huge bus was not an easy job to do. They were the first team to check in the chartered bus.
  • It was already dark when the teams reached Chiang Mai. This gave problem to the siblings to locate their clues. They are the only team hopped-in the second bus.
  • In Detour, the siblings chose Rice where they got to pound some rice and make rice ball. They did well in this Detour. They arrived third at the first pit-stop.
  • The other Malaysian team - Ida & Tania finished fifth. So far so good for the Malaysian Teams - Good luck guys!
  • The last team who arrived at the pit-stop was cousins, Neena and Amit. They were eliminated from the race. And I thought, this would be a non-elimination leg of the race. Well, it's ok. The lesser the better
My findings

I wouldn't share my taxi with other teams especially when you are heading to the pit-stop. Geoff and Tisha should learn from their mistake. They were actually the first team (they came together) arrived at the pit-stop. Although Oliver was already there but his team mate, Mai was far behind. This cost Geoff and Tisha US$5000!!

It's good to see Paula Taylor (TARA2) with Allan Wu welcoming the teams. I hope they can do the same when/if they come to Malaysia. I wanted to see the Chong's sisters again!
