It's Friday the 13th (yikes!)

I hope nothing eerie happens today

Back to American Idol

they cut two contestants (how cruel!)

but on a positive side

the lesser the better :))

First thing first

Ryan revealed the BIG surprise we are waiting for

[I almost got it right though]

The Judges' Veto

meaning the judges can save one contestant who got fewer votes

but it was a one-time veto

once they've used it

there would be no more saving the contestants

and IF the judges have used their veto to save one contestant

it means nobody would be eliminated that week

but the next round

two contestants will leave (yikes!)

Then Ryan continued with the elimination process

Jasmine & Jorge were sent home

they sang for their immunity

but the judges say 'NO'

I wonder, who is among the contestants will get the judges' save?

we will find out

sooner or later

and I can't really wait ;)

by the way

Kelly Clarkson sang her new singles

It was far more better than the previous concert. Nasib baik! otherwise mungkin saya sudah tertidur :)

Here are my personal review on the performances - in my favourite order ~~

Esther
I love everything about her. She was really good. To which I think, she should receive the immunity. But come to think of it, I don't think they will give it to her very often. The organizers need OUR MONEY! Vote for her please!

Rizu
I used to watch 'Wulan' so I know his song. It was brilliant! I know this boy can sing. I was surprised when Paul just noticed it.

Tomok
Not bad. I like his rendition of 'Crazy in Love'.

Simon
A good try from him. But something about him to which I think he can't win this.

Aweera
I think this guy was given a chance due to Syafinaz harsh critics last week ;) Fortunately for that, he had shown us a good show! Immunity? a consolation for him, I think LoL

Amylea
A 'so-so' performance. I missed Michael of American Idol 7 who sang the same song!

Anith
Moderate. I agree with Jac, she should give more adlib to her song.

Fify
I like Katy Pery's song. It was performed in group in American Idol 8- flawless! But for Fify, she didn't nail it.

Pija
Oh dear Pija - what happened to you? You were so good during Mentor. This is the different Pija I see. I hope she can improved IF she is still around next week.

Nine
I disagree with the judges. So many off-pitch from him. Being a professional singer there shouldn't be a 'sumbang-mumbang' from him. Maybe the judges trying to help him to stay in the competition. I should think, he's out next week!

This is the first season, they introduced 13 finalists [My family were doing the 13th Station of the Station of the Cross yesterday - lucky 13 indeed]. And thanks to that, Anoop made it to the finals. Out of the 13, eight of them are actually my favourites and predicted them to be in the finals - Adam, Alexis, Allison, Danny, Jasmine, Lil Rounds, Matt and especially Megan!

Put aside Adam Lambert's controversy, I would think he can win this competition. But I'm looking foward more from Megan. She has this cute little dance LoL.

Watched the American Idol last night
I don't know whether I was too tired last night or the show is really boring ;)

The result of the round 2 came out last Friday
I didn't expect Kris Allen to be in the finals
his performance was just 'okay'
nothing to remember about
I'm sure ladies voted him because of his good looks (hensem ka??)

Simon Cowell said they will give wild cards
and from this group he had assured a couples would be given

Like the judges, I was a bit disappointed. I was not entertained. Something is lacking :(

Here's a quick review on contestants' performances (in random order) last Friday:

Esther

Never heard of her song and I don't like it :( I thought she was singing 'Better in Time' again as it appeared on the screen. A bit shaky in the beginning but overall, Esther did her best. I think she will safe. VOTE FOR HER GUYS!!!

Pija

I didn't get it why she received good compliments from the judges. "Since She's Been Gone" is way too big for her. She couldn't reach the note. Off-pitch pula tu! Adoi!

Han

Ayoo...sumbang jugalah...

Simon

I used to watch David Cook & Jason Castro with guitars. So, I tend to compare him with them. Nothing outstanding. Just safe. I hope he will get rid of the guitar next week!

Amylea

Another performance with guitar. Overall, she was good. Since all contestants didn't perform well, I'm gonna agree with the judges to give the immunity to her.

Tomok

Nothing new. Macam persembahan New Boyz saja :)

Nine

Forgettable! He must do something on his performance. Try and choose Faizal Tahir's song ;)

Fify

Dia ni ramai peminatlah. Tapi nyanyi tidak seberapa. Hmm sekarang saya terfikir-fikir sudah ni, camana dia boleh masuk top 12 hehehe

Rizu

Hey! This boy can sing. I really love his rendition of 'My Way'. Tapi betul lah komen seorang chatter - muka dia a bit kelihatan sombong. Mungkin nervous bangat bah dia ni kannn

Anith

Dia ni cantik lah hehehe. Suara dia to me 'ok-ok' saja.

Aweera

Syafinaz cakap dia ni menyalak. Terma menyalak, saya rasa a bit harsh. Melalak mungkin sopan sikit hahaha. Ok now. Back to his singing that night. He was screeching all the way. Gosh! I can feel the pain in his throat. His eyes were red too! If he wasn't feel well, he should try a 'mellow' song.

Who should leave? I think it should be Aweera.

As I didn't have any program last night
I watched the final of My Starz LG on TV3

erm...
there was something lacked on this show
I didn't get excited
could it be the final 4 contestants lacked of aura?
or the judges maybe?
or perhaps the presenter? especially Nas ~ he was so boring :(
or was it me?
well, to tell you the truth, I didn't follow this show LOL
so blame it on me!!

The reason I stayed and watched was because of Hairi
he is from Sabah, so to support Sabahan is a must :)
unfortunately, he did a 'so-so' performance
but I did enjoy Fiq though hehehe
