The last contestants standing took the stage of Kodak Theater last night. They performed three songs each, their favourite, song they had sang during the competition and a new winning song.
Blake Lewis opened the show with 'You Give Love a Bad Name' by Bon Jovi. Followed by Jordin Sparks with 'Fighter' by Christina Aguilera.
In Round Two, Blake sang Maroon 5's 'She Will be Loved' and Jordin with Martina McBride's 'Broken Wing. In the final round, both of them performed a new song 'This is My Now'. I kinda fell in love with this song :)
On my personal judgement, I give round 1 & 2 to Blake and the final round to Jordin.
Simon was heard giving comments on Blake that he thought Blake played it safe. To me, it was Jordin who played it safe. Just look at her. She was just standing in her all three performances. She was scared to move about that she might ruin her singing. Aguilera's song was supposed to be a dynamic one where Jordin should running around the stage with aggresiveness like a 'fighter'. But she didn't. Jaga suara lah beb.
Should Jordin cry while performing 'This is My Now'? You answer! Was it a strategy? Hmmm..it could be. Last night's show was closed by Chris Daughtry, performing with his popular single 'Home'.
I'll pick Blake Lewis to win :)
